This research paper aims at highlighting the reality of the phonetic term use between the old and the modern, based on the following question research: Why did some of the old phonetic terms disappear and were replaced by other translated or updated terms?
It turns out that an important number of old phonetic terms have not lost their validity in the modern lesson, as they are comprehensive and accurate enough for the required purpose and are still used.
