This research aims to present a new vision related to the strangeness in the Noble Qur’an, from the point of view of terminology, and from the point of view of authorship in it. The importance of the topic lies in its connection to understanding the revealed word of God Almighty as a guidance for people and a constitution to achieve their happiness in the two worlds, and its connection to the subject of the eloquence of the Qur’an, which is one of the most important manifestations of its miracle. As for the problematic issue, it is represented in the following question: To what extent is it possible to renew the term “Gharib Al-Qur’an” and renew authorship in it?
I followed the descriptive approach to address the research problem, while employing the mechanisms of induction, analysis, and deduction. Among the most important results that I reached: that the renewal of the term “Gharib Al-Qur’an” is an urgent need, especially since the renewal movement in it stopped a long time ago, and also among the results: that singling out “Gharib Al-Qur’an” by writing according to the new term will have great effects, including facilitating access to this science.
