Institutional capacity and its relationship to strategic orientation at community colleges in Amran Governorate - Yemen

The study sought to explore the relationship nature between institutional capacity and strategic orientation of community colleges in Amran governorate, The survey analytical descriptive method is used in this study. The questionnaire was used as a tool for this study, It applied to research population consisting of (70 persons) of administrative and teaching staff in (5) colleges included in the study population, and the results of the study showed that the general level of institutional capacity in the community colleges targeted by the study was (medium), while the level of strategic direction in those colleges was (medium), as it was not found statistically significant differences in the assessment of the members of the study sample in the institutional capacity level in community colleges in Amran city, it followed the variables (Function, and College), finally, the study results showed a strong moral relationship between institutional capacity and strategic direction in community colleges. The study recommended the need for the Yemeni Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training to enhance the strategic orientation of government and private community colleges in order to help them develop their institutional capacity, embodying the importance of the role entrusted to these institutions in preparing and qualifying a large part of social persons.
