Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of student activities in achieving the sustainable development goals among students of post-basic education schools in Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, in accordance with Oman Vision 2040, the researchers used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study sample consisted of (301) male and female students, from the schools of the second cycle of basic education, and the results of the study showed: The reality of activating the role of student activities in achieving the sustainable development goals among students of post-basic education schools is achieved to a moderate degree, with There are statistically significant differences between the average estimates of the study sample on the reality of activating the role of student activities in achieving sustainable development goals attributed to the gender variable in favor of female students. The study recommended the need for the Ministry of Education to integrate student activities with the sustainable development goals, and to raise awareness of the sustainable development goals and ways to achieve them through the proper employment of various school activities.
