Content Analyses of The Developed Arabic Language Text Book for The Second Grade of Primary Stage in The Light of the 21st Century Skills in Egypt

The current study aimed to identify the degree of inclusion of the content of the Arabic language book developed for the second grade of primary school in light of the skills of the twenty-first century in Egypt. The sample of the study represented:
content of the student book (Communication) for the second grade of primary school in the first and second semesters of the academic year 2023/2024.The study used the descriptive analytical approach, and the researcher prepared the study tool (card content analysis) and its validity and reliability were confirmed, and the results of the study concluded that the content of the Arabic language book developed for the second grade of primary school included twenty-first century skills, as communication skills came in first place with a percentage of 42.0 9%, with a high degree, and in second place were initiative skills and learning based on self by 25.73%, with a moderate degree, and thinking skills came in third place critical skills and problem solving at a rate of 18.05%, with a moderate degree, and came in fourth place creativity and innovation skills, at a rate of 7.41%, with a low degree, and came in fifth place the skills of cooperation working in a team and leadership at a rate of 4.96%, with a low degree, and came in sixth place multicultural skills at a rate of 1.58%, with a low degree, and skills at the last rank came last the culture of communication, information and global education at a rate of 0.17%, and to a low degree. In light of the results, the study recommended including the content of the Arabic language book for the second grade of primary school, interactive activities related to critical thinking and solving problems, creativity and innovation, and how to cooperation and working in a team and linking it to the lives of students.
