This study aimed to study the Relationship between management information systems and strategic planning the problem of the study was represented in the role of management information systems in strategic planning by Applying on high education - Sudan. The study used descriptive analyses approche. The study population of sudanses Universites in Khartoum staste. Used random sample of (200) individuals was selected from the study population to anumber of results from them. There is adirect (positive) significant correlation at the level (0.05) between management information systems and strategic planning –and it recommended anumber of recommandations , including the development of along-term strategic plan based on the integration of management information systems .The need to use information systems experts when strategic planning The need to pay attention to continuons training and qualification to raise Professional efficiency Work on providing data and information storage media with sufficient capacity.
