Abstract

The study aims to reveal the features of the renewal and the testing of Yemeni novel narrative in the period of the first decade of the 20th century.

The study will be based on a documentary attemp of some of narratives of the first decade of the 20th century in addition to pointing out to some artistic and aesthetic features through the narrative approach.

 

The study worked on many novel forms trying to devise artistic and objective concerns that highlight their connection to cultural and political transformations.

 

The problem of the study arises in revealing the extent of the transformations that were found in the novels and contributed to achieving their specificity .

The study has reached several results including the general trend

 "among novelists in the final stage" heading towards experimentation in entering new fields by

practicing the types of infringe and innovation in form and content.
