A proposed educational program to activate the role of universities in promoting the characteristics of successful women among their students in light of the teachings of Islamic law

Abstract

The study aimed to deduce the characteristics of successful women as stated in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet.  To answer the study questions; The researcher used the developmental analytical approach, as she used the analytical approach through a comprehensive description of the phenomenon and the analysis of previous studies related to the subject of the study, and the developmental approach by presenting a proposed educational program to activate the role of universities in promoting the characteristics of successful women among their students in the light of the teachings of Islamic law.  The research tools consisted in collecting data and information from various sources such as books, research, scientific and Islamic studies, scientific journals and periodicals, and various internet sites.

To devise the characteristics of successful women as stated in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.

The study concluded that universities have a fundamental and pivotal role in positively and effectively influencing their students. The results also showed the most important characteristics of successful women in the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, which are: (devotional characteristics, moral characteristics, leadership characteristics, and intellectual characteristics). 

Within the limits of the results of the study, the researcher presented a proposed educational program to enhance the characteristics of successful women among her students in the light of the teachings of Islamic law.
