The role of the midwife in Andalusia during the century (2-8AH/8-14AD)

Medicine in Andalusia was interested in obstetrics and gynecology, and they competed with the people of the East in this, and they studied it in depth, and Andalusian women emerged in this area, who were famous in obstetrics, management and treatment, and the objectives of this study are due to the fact that they are trying to know the extent of the prowess of Andalusian women in the profession of obstetrics during the century ( 2-8 AH/8-14 AD).
The study reached a set of results, including that the midwife in Andalusia had a role in finding medicines that reduce women’s pain during childbirth, and she also had experience in various difficult obstetric, and relied on tools that were explained to us in Andalusian medical books.
